Default Installed a Mustang Heated seat on my 2026 Street Glide Limited

I replaced the stock heated seat on my 26 SG Limited with a Mustang heated seat. I made this install video. It was very easy and I am happy with the seat.

so out of curiosity..what does the Mustang do for you the OEM seat didn't? better heating, different dimensions, more room, more comfortable? guessing it was an ~$1000 ish update so was there real 'value' in making an expensive change? from what we know about these new models is the OEM seat comfort seems good but for some folks they feel too cramped forward..that is kind of a bummer about not being able to deactivate the error lamp

It seems to me that Mustang could make a heated seat that integrates to the Skyline Infotainment system. The stock seat isn't bad, but I do feel as though I'm pushed forward a little. Also, from my experience with Mustang seats they are comfortable. If they made a touring seat that integrated with the Skyline system, I'd be convinced to purchase one.

More like 1249 bucks for heated with a choice for thread color.

I have to stay that the stock seat does push me up some, but I have a backrest that may have something to do with that pushing.

May think about doing it down the road.... the seat looks pretty good, but my bike runs pretty hot on the right side. Really don't think I will use the heated seat option too much but want to retain it, it works!

I like the instructions.... "A firm downward punch or chop to the nose of the seat will push seat closer to the tank dash". I like to punch or chop some of the HD parts I bought.

Some of the people who write HD parts instructions need a punch or a chop.

Need a review!

for
$1250 it would need to be a huge all around improvement to justify throwing a decent OEM on the take off parts pile

100 percent correct! I should have mentioned that no heated seat saves about 400 bucks from the price of the seat.

I had a Mustang seat on a Heritage a few years ago and it was pretty good. They do make some good seats...but this stock one is pretty good as well....
