What has the motor company done different with the 2015 Heritage versus the 2014 Heritage? Thinking about purchasing a Heritage for my wife, (and then I can have a sporty bike to ride when she's at work!)
This was one of new key features of 2015 Fatboy. It does say softail models though .
A new front brake system on the SoftailŽ models this year delivers a 40 percent reduction in the amount of lever force required at peak braking. The handlebar master and front cylinders have been restyled. There's a new 4-piston fixed caliper with 32 and 34 mm pistons, premium caliper piston coating to minimize initial displacement and a larger 300 mm rotor. It all adds up to more stopping power with less effort.
The front brake change sounds like a pretty significant improvement.
No, no it is not. My ABS brakes on my 13 flstc work extremely well. The only improvement that would have been significant enough to prefer a 15 heritage over a 14 is a Springer front in with ABS brakes.

Actually, the specifics in the post before yours sound very significant.

I personally do not think the 2015 are significantly better than the 2014 softails. Nobody buys a softail because softails have the best brakes and even with the improved braking it still isn't as good as brembo brakes. The 2015 softails hasn't been discussed hardly at all on the softail forum because not very many people care about the 2015 softails have slightly better brakes. One of the coolest things about softails is any year softail is a good year because Classic never goes out of style or becomes obsolete.
