I switched from the beads to this and I like it better.

Yes, maybe it's just me but when I used the beads, whenever I wanted to check my tire pressure, sometimes the beads got stuck in the valve stem and caused the air to keep coming out. Even when I had the stem at the top of the tire when I checked the air, sometimes the same thing would happen. It was easy to fix but it was just annoying to me. I haven't had an issue yet to test the Ride On to see if it really seals small holes but I don't have to worry about leaks in my valve stem anymore and I am happy with that.

from their website http://dynabeads.ca/index.php/motorc...9b2608486d60ee

Motorcycles Motorcycle applications are easy for all bikes,
2 wheel or 3 wheel
Front 80 - 120 mm tire width 1 oz
80 - 120 mm tire width (BMW Telelever only) 2 oz
130 mm tire width 2 oz

Rear 130 mm - 240 mm width 2 oz
250 mm - 360mm tire width 3 oz
195 - 205 car tires on the rear 3 oz
M Series Tires Sizes MH use 80 mm width
MR use 120 mm width
MJ use 90 mm width
MT use 130 mm width
MM use 100 mm width
MU use 140 mm width
MN or MP use 110 mm width
MV use 150 mm width

These codes are typical for Harleys but can be for any tire. The codes do not go beyond 150mm in width. With these tires, the first number of the tire size is not the actual width, it is just a number. The M-code is what tells you the actual width.

It's all I use. It will also seal a puncture in a tube.

According to the FAQ on the dyna bead web site you should put the stem in the 6 o'clock position and before you take your tire pressure you give it a quick shot of air then take your pressure.

When I first started with Dyna beads I got their install kit, which is nothing more then a plastic bottle with a cone spout and a plastic tube that fits over the valve stem and the cone end of the bottle. When I install the beads I use an engraver and just lay the end of it along side the tube and gradually tilt the bottle with the amount of beads I want to install and a few minutes later I'm done.

I've been using the beads for several years now and have been very happy with their performance. I do change out tires for friends and we put the beads in and not one of them have complained or had an issue. Plus no unsightly weights.
