Exclamation Wanryd Front wheel.....question? Balanced?

I received my 21" Wanaryd wheel on Saturday. Last night I installed it and tonight I was looking it over and there is not a single wheel weight on the wheel. Now I paid for wheel, rotors (2x) and tire mounted and balanced. Unless I'm not in the loop on some new wheel balancing technology I would say this wheel hasn't been balanced. I'm going to call Wanaryd in the morning to sort it out but the question I have is should I do a road test with the wheel installed? I'm thinking NO..don't risk it. I paid $xxxx.xx for the wheel and there shouldn't be any questionable issues. Who's to say what would happen. Has anyone else purchased a front wheel from Wanaryd? Was the wheel balanced and were there weights on the front wheel? I ordered this wheel. This thread is not to flame Wanaryd but just asking if I'm missing something. I'm going to square everything away with Wanaryd tomorrow. Thanks

Yeah....no cause to panic if you've been informed. Nothing in the box but the complete wheel....what the hell is dyna beeds? Now I might not be up to date on wheel balancing technology but I grew up working in a tire shop/re-cap shop from the age of 15 till I joined the Army at the age of 18. So what is the deal with dyna beeds?

Why???? Worst thing thats gonna happen is its gonna shake, big deal, then you'll know. My rear 18 has no weight on it, no beads and no shake. If it was mine I'd ride it, if it shook I'd balance it the same way we do on spindle mount front wheels on drag car. Take brake caliper off (get wheel to spin freely) jack it up, spin wheel, heavy side will go to bottom, stick on weight on the oppisite side.

Odds are it won't shake, if they mounted it they probably checked it.

Thumbs up

Called and talked to Wanaryd today. Yep! Dyna beads were used. So that cleared everything up. Thanks!
