only thing about a Deuce is...... WELL ----Look in the Parts book...

Son bought a new one in 07 -- (and traded for an 09 NT).

The REASON -- (they are a Really good looking bike)...But Soon you'll learn if YOU want to add Mods...

YOU'll learn very quickly that you always see . (((--FITS everything Except the Deuce--))) in the Parts book......

I paid $11K out the door for a 00 Deuce a year ago without hesitation. But it spoke to me.

This is only an issue if you're building a catalog queen and putting every bolt on skull that HD offers on your bike. Just look at mine in my sig, it's not stock. If this was a problem every Deuce would still be stock.

The people that say what's quoted in the above post are those that don't own them.

I picked up this Deuce back in May of this year. It is what got me interested in learning how to ride again after considering it about five years ago. After the riders course this is what I lam learning to ride on. I guess at 62 I am considered a chrome hound and if that's the case this Deuce fits the bill.

There were a number of options available for the Deuce by the MOCO as well as third party. We need to remember it has not been made for 8 years now.

There is not much I have thought about adding that it does not already have.I am considering a dipstick with a oil temp gauge built into it. Not much else I can see that I would consider adding. I will be getting in to the mechanics of it this fall to make sure everything is in good order.

It is a 2001 with 27K on it and just one owner. I picked it up for $7K and think I stole it.

I second what V I says. Only thing you cant find or make work on a Deuce is a quick detach sissy bar. But with air ride and a jack, the stock Harley one goes on and off in a few min...
