all you have to do is take off the seat and flip it to the other side. zip tie it to the frame where you want it.

Mine comes out near the seat on the exhaust side. I just route the power line over the engine guard and along the air cleaner and it stays away from the hot pipes.

Mine is routed to the left side, comes out close to the front of the seat.

Mine is too. What I'd like to know is where to stow it when not in use. Doesn't really seem to be a good place. Right now I have it looped back up under the seat, so I have to remove the seat to get to it.

I don't stow it anywhere. The only thing that actually sticks out from underneath the seat is the connector itself as the wire routing seems to be quite short. Doesn't interfere with anything although not looking all perfect. But like this it's easily accessible.

Guess I'll have to look at shortening it or curling it up under the seat. If I pull it out it hangs down to the primary cover.

Hmmm, somehow that just didn't sound right..

Mine is on the left side as well. When not in use it tucks up just under the seat and you'll never know it's there.

Yes mine is on the exhaust side. I just wait for the engine to cool or plug it in a day or two later. No biggie!
