I'm planning on having these bars manufactured, but with 1 1/4 tubing.
The Specs are
8" TOTAL RISE
6.5" PULL BACK
32" TIP TO TIP
Bottom tube width is 11.5"
Stock bars are Tip to Tip 32" Pullback 7" Rise 7.75" Base width 11.25.
I was wondering if I could use the stock cables, Also when I changed the bars out on my old crossbones all I did was loosen the clamps on the hand controls slip them off the old bars and onto the new ones. This took all of about 5 minutes. Does anyone see a reason why I couldn't do this on my fatboy? almost forgot last question, are the stock risers on the fatboy lo 1 1/4" so the bottoms of the new bars would not have to be stepped down?
My 2014 Fatboy Lo's bars are wired internally, how bout yours? Little more work if they are and you do. Don't know about the cable length, though it sounds like it would be pretty close. My bars are 1 1/4 all the way through.
Thanks for answering, I checked and they are wired internally. Unless there is a way way to get the wires out, it makes it out of my difficultly range. It looks like i might have enough cable since they are so close.
