I see you went with a used pair. No one is going to beat that price with new but Amazon is your friend for pipes. I go to the manufacturers sites and then hit amazon with the part number.
I looked at the Freedoms. The kit I bought wad basically a new scratch and dent. The scuff is on the inside of one of the tips. I basically bought them for the head pipes so I could run 39" Buky Bar Fishtails. But having a set of 36s isn't bad. 500 for the pipes I'm happy with.
though my pipes are on Ultra Limited, got the whole duals n header set up and fit like a glove and quality of the pipes are fantastic. Amazon.com was my site to buy too!
I'd be curious to see a variety of photos after you get them installed (a video with sound would be great too!). I like the shorter design of the fishtail tips of Buky Bars and Bassani vs. the longtails design on the Samsons (especially after cutting up my ankles while walking around the back of my night train several times). Maybe a left shot, right shot, and rear shot photo? I don't like the wide mouth of the Freedom fishtails that you see from the rear.
If worse comes to worse, when I get a bike in the garage again, I'll be getting the Samson's on order immediately. I do like the Buky Bars fishtails as well. I recently sent them an E-mail to see if they were going to be making their own header pipes, and was told that it is in the works... So maybe by the time I get around to working on a bike, they will have them out.
