I would recommend buying a pair of polyurethane riser bushings. After my ape install, I reused the stock rubber bushings and the bars were too "mushy." A set of poly bushings firmed up the front end.
Can you suggest where these can be bought? Is this available from Harley?

Harley sells a set of them, but the reviews that I saw were not favorable. I ordered a pair from J&P Cycles for $8. They cut down on the vibrations and get rid of that mushy feeling in the bars.
I ended up getting the ones from Harley; so far so good, no issues at all with them
Got my bar already. The seller was out west somewhere but their distribution center is about 3 miles from my office. On my doorstep 28 hours after I placed the order! I also ordered the Wild One WO525 and 535 riser and clamp, which is a singłe solid piece on the top side. It appears to me that getting the chrome topped polyurethane bushing will be a waste of money, since it appears that they can't be seen anyway. Is that correct?

Depending on what risers you us, you might be able to see just a little bit of the chrome top. With the stock Slim risers, you can't see those covers at all.
