Hey guys I'm thinking of upgrading my headlight. I Was basically sold on getting a daymaker for my rocker. But then I came across these http://www.socalmotogear.com/PATHFIN...GHT-p/h4f3.htm
Anybody got any experience or input on these?
I haven't had experience with this particular brand but let me tell you that I tried an LED bulb on my ride and the vibration caused it to come apart at the base. Mine was a cheapy one though (China made).
But for $85 I'd hate to find out that this one can't stand to the vibrations either. Unfortunately I don't think there are many more reliable options other than the $300+ daymaker.
I have this one in my other, non harley, bike. It is very bright and works great. I have only been using it for 5 or 600 miles though, so I cannot comment on how long it will live. The quality seems good, and it appears to be well built. I just bought the kit of 2 and sold one to another guy with the same bike to cover 1/2.
