Two questions. Are those monotubes adjustable? Or are they a set height?
And do you still need fork oil when using those ?
They have 2 different sets per bike to choose from. One set is stock height, the other you can set to 1 or 2 inches lowered with the use of some plastic circlips.
You do use oil, only 5oz to keep things lightly lubricated, it has nothing to do with suspension damping whatsoever.

I ordered the monotubes and installed them this afternoon - the dive on applying the front brake most certainly appears better - I feel it's a fair improvement all round, but haven't used it long enough to give an honest review.
