If I drop the front of my Deluxe by 2'' with the Progressive dropin kit, sounds like a daft question but will I still have any fork travel?, will it bottom out all the time?
You'll still have travel, just 2" less. Some guys on here have dropped 4" and still have travel, so you should be ok. Ride will be a bit more harsh, but a set of Ricor intiminator shock valves will help with that. Put a set in mine when I dropped it and love em so far. They just drop in the top of the tube. Also, the full progressive kit (non drop in) will give a slightly better ride than the drop in.
Dropped mine 2" with progressive drop ins and I really like the ride, it still has travel but its a bit stiffer. The drop ins are not really drop ins you will still have to take the fork legs out of the triple trees.

PM NC'DLUXE Mark, he can give you all the sp! Reading what he'd posted the other day, there's still travel, just less of it but he had bottomed out on his last ride on a bump! just remember their roads to ours, the worse of theirs is our best?
