My Uncle Mickey, one of the greatest men I knew in my life passed away a yr ago, and a family visit a few weeks back found me in my aunts garage staring at his springer. Aunt comes out, we just stared at it and talked for a bit. Later that day she hands me the certificate of origin and says he'd want me to have the bike. I was left speechless.
I'm headed back over to Nevada this weekend to pick the bike up, and right now I'm happier than a pig in ****. I plan on making a few changes and keeping track of them here.
I know, shorts and shoes... I wasn't planning on taking it out that day, but she wanted me to run it up the street.
I'll take some better pics this weekend
Nice. It looks like your Aunt was as excited to give it to you as you were receiving it. She is probably glad to know a family member will enjoy it as much as her husband.
