Also, if you're running a more open intake than factory and a more open exhaust than factory, you're going to be running very lean due to all of the extra air getting through the engine. Especially at high throttle opening under load. That really isn't good for the engine. I'd suggest getting the fuelling sorted out with a tuner of some sort.

Probably not. The ECM meters the air, monitors the mixture, and self-adjusts pretty well.
The fuel-air ratio of my Rocker (with similar parts) was checked on a dyno, and it was well within the safe range.

Sorry fuel /air checked on a dyno is lame . dyno has no forced air (sitting still) the motor has to suck it in
add 90mph plus wind into that forward facing air cleaner , and I bet it runs lean .. Lota of spike style air cleaners cause hi speed problems.
rotate that aircleaner to a up , or back position , then see what you have
the engine sucks air , it don't like a blower on it

Had the same problem at 75 in 95+ heat. Once I took off the cruise and changed speeds it seemed to help. Just had a 50 k service and then a 2500 service before leaving on vacation. Use shell premium, work showed the changed the fuel filter and plugs.
I usually run back roads very seldom freeways, also I'm from Detroit and this Tennessee heat if hot. I have a 2014 flhtk with 52k on it.
