Very thick ( the shockproof version) I dumped it after a summer of smelling that putrid smell out the trans vent in high heat conditions.

The first time I used it I could smell it when near the bike, but it goes away after about a week.

Redline gear oil is SUPPOSED to be thick so the gears won`t slice it up. I`ve had good success with it, and my trans runs quieter. Plus, it will last 10K miles without a problem.
i run redline syn tranny fluid , redline syn primary fluid and Harley dinosaur oil in engine.. redline fluids get a change every 5000 miles and the engine at 3000 miles.. not because you need to just because I can
