i have to be honest i first wanted the amber but settled for black. i really like the black now. and i think black looks best with minimal mods. the bright colored ones have to have a bunch done to look good. which is exactly why 24v's looks so fantastic, it's because he has gone over every detail of the bike.

just my $.02
I can agree with that. The stock red bike looks terrible to me. Honestly, the day I got home with my bike after stripping and trading in my Blackline I wondered what I had done. But then the mods started falling into place and I knew I made the right choice. There are so many ways to make these bikes look awesome.
I have yet to actually see the NEW 2015 red in person (regardless of in or outdoor) so i cant make a decision yet. Im not down for any kind of pink/purple hue to the tone.
If anything its going to be between the 2013 Ember or 2015 Black.
I do plan on adding plenty of black to the look. Hate to say similar to 24V and be a copy cat but hey...similar styles and likes...great minds think alike?
only thing i wouldnt do is the hangers, im just not a hanger fan and i think the flow of the Breakout calls for drag bars or something lower and racey
Maybe i can hunt down a low miles Ember red 2013 from a HD dealership in FL and make a deal. Thanks for all your feedback guys!
24v if you manage to get next to a new Mysterious Red please do post up!
i would prob go black! blacked out is always good, BUT 24v does have a sick one! i also think if done right the green could come off pretty sick...
I was also thinking that Green color could be done really well but if there is one thing i hate...its Tribal. even the subtle hint of tribal lines in graphics. I have Yet to see the Green in person, is that under the paint or clear coat?
or a decal that can be stripped?
Before I ordered mine, I had big hopes that H-D would make a satin black Breakout for the 2014 line. I'm surprised that they still don't offer it in 2015.

I have the radioactive green on my Slim. It is not a decal. It is under the clear coat. It looks nice out in the sun. I have plenty of pics of it under the thread "wait is killing me", here is a link for it with pics on page 4 and 5. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...illing-me.html
