I could spent thousands of your hard earned dollars, where shall I start?
Just my opinion here Warg, but stay away from chrome component covers on the engine..
Covers are cheaper, and look like it. You have to do it right and replace the parts with chrome.
Having said that, there are some small parts that chrome replacements are not available such as the tank fuelfitting cover and the lower oil line cover coming out of the tank. The HD "script" rear axle bolt cover is also a class piece. I would also get rid of ANY exposed zinc hardware with chrome or Hot Tops.
If you have spokes get chrome spokes.A world of difference.$40 for spokes and whatever someone will charge you to lace them up if you don't have a trueing stand.
I actually want to get my rims and hubs powdercoated, my spokes are already chrome, so they should really pop with the black rims.
Don't really want to go with the inner primary cover because I want to keep the black on the inner primary visible to go with the other black accents. The cylinder base cover I think will look good, but still undecided.
I already have black rear axle covers, so the chrome ones are out.
thanks for the reccomendations, keep them coming...
Hey George C, what is the oil line cover you mentioned?
