I've had some 2 into 1 in my day, but I never really liked the look. I'm thinking one of my winter projects this year will be the Supertrapp 2 into 1 merge system for a more vintage look.
Just put a D and D low cat with louvered baffle on my Slim. The idle is kinda quiet but deep. Sounds good when you twist the throttle. Fit and finish are great. Phat performance has the best prices on these
You have some options. Sound is subjective find a YouTube clip and decide the pipe you prefer. The tone and decibel level will vary depending on the model (Softail or Dyna) and engine modifications. The top three are: Bassani Road Rage, (Two versions - Short for stock/mild engines and Long for high HP 115 +)
D&D Fat Cat and the V&H Pro Pipe. The Pro Pipe was my choice on two older bikes and I had intended to use it again. I'm fortunate to live near one of best builders/tuners in the southwest.(Lozano Brothers Racing) and Mike recommended the Bassani (long) for the 117 he's building me.
If I ever buy another exhaust, this is the one I would get. Looks and sounds great.
OMG I'm in love!!! Does it come in black? And who makes it? That looks like a really smart lookin system.
Edit: NVM. RB Racing! The best out there bar none! https://www.rbracing-rsr.com/lsr21.htm

Not sure if it comes in black, she sounds good. Its an older pic. When the Breakout first came out, this guy ordered the CVO. When it came in it went straight to a lift and went to a 117ci with just the setup miles on the clock.
I have never been a big fan of the 2 into 1 look but when I bought this bike it came with one on it. It's a "Python" pipe and I really grew to like that pipe. It's a GREAT performance pipe that has both the look and a great sounding pipe. I went with another set of pipes for a particular look but I'm really starting to miss that pipe and seriously thinking of putting it back on and redynoed. I am sure with this last round of work, head work and different cam, that I can push this bike to close to 110 in both horsepower and torque.
