Default Heritage springer front fender ?

I'm new to the springer world. I have 4 other Harleys and an Indian but always want to try a SPRINGER. So far I love it
I have it tore down now getting ready to start paint. I have a Klockworks rear stretched fender and was thinking about possibly stretching the front fender a bit
My question is ...has anyone done it? and if so ..how much ( 4 inches, 6 inches ?)...any pics ? Goggle couldn't find a single pic of a springer with stretched font fender
thanks in advance for any helpful info

Hopefully you'll get your answer from somebody with lots of knowledge but if you don't this is also a great forum.

The Springer front fender is a machine in itself. It's not like regular fenders. The whole springer front end is apart from anything ever built. They are unique, and have a zillion different and strange parts that I've never seen anywhere before. To stretch the fender would look different and unique. But it might also cause the bushings and everything out of balance or cause undue wear. I really don't know. Remember the Springer front end is like nothing Harley ever built. It literally has more unique and different parts than you've ever seen. Strangest MACHINE I've ever seen. If it was me, I'd leave it well enough alone and not invite problems.
. GOOD LUCK, Dale"Hippie" Harmon

Talk about a timely necro. Because this is something I am half considering. Still on the fence though.

Yeah Bro. I've got my springer apart at this moment. Every 20,000 miles we're supposed to take the fender mechanism and the lower rocker set up and inspect, clean, grease them. I didn't know that. So...now I'm at 48,000 miles and I'm finding out all about this front end. It's the most intense, complicated and highly unknown front end Harley ever built. And some of the small, weird, strange parts are obsolete. That's why I don't know if I would mess with the engineering aspect of this complex piece of machinery. In short, if it was me, knowing what I found out now, I think I would check everything out, inspect, grease etc... and I'd leave well enough alone. The springer is badass on it's own. Handles fantastic and looks bitchin. Inspect and grease all those 100s of moving parts, shine it up and ride this beautifully gorgeous piece of machinery and make their jaws drop when you pull up or when you ride by. We are part of a small percentage of bike lovers that dare go the extra mile to date ride the best!! THE SPRINGER SOFTAIL!! To me, it just doesn't get any better than that. Twist it back! Put them knees in the breeze. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. DIG IT!!
