I bought a PCV second hand and the guy said the only thing missing was the USB cable. Fine, they are a dime/dozen. When it showed up the o2 sensor optimizer/eliminators were not there. I am guessing they are only a resistor to fool the ECM into thinking they are still there. Am I correct in assuming that you cannot run the bike without them? Am I about to get stiffed for $40 to buy them from Power Commander?

 

I have the cobra system with the oxygen sensors and it works great. The sensors on mine actually sample and adjust as you go. I never get any pop on decel, etc.
I would get the sensors or your unit may be looking for feedback that may impact how it runs?
