Default Fatboy tires

Just put the Skullfire rims, polished rotors,Drag Specialties chrome solid pulley, and new Metzeler tires on my 2005 Fatboy.I put a 160 on the rear, and a 130 on the front. Both these tires fill the fenders to the max with out any modification,as an FYI,this appears as big a tire as will work on a 2005 Fatboy. If your looking for Metzeler tires, the best price is at Ron Ayers Motorsports.I also replaced my brake pads with the Lyndall Z pads,a world of improvement,no front break squeel, and much more solid braking with no fade.Changing to Lyndall Z pads should be one of the first things to change on your new bike.

Pic? I too just got the skull fire rims but I am waiting on the chrome forks and upper sliders to get them changed.

What is the widest tire that can be placed on the back of a 03 fatboy. Currently have 150 on.

My Heritage has Fatboy guards and wheels. I have a 150 on the back. The only time I ride the Heritage is when my wifegoes with me. The other day I noticed the guard was rubbing on the left side of the tyre. It looked like the struts and guard moved over. Loosened everything off and put a block of wood between the guard and tyre to keep in central while tightening everything and now seems to be ok.
If you get hold of the guard you can move it very easily side to side so just keep and eye out when putting big tyres on the back.
