Breakout Exhaust/ECM Help
I have a 2014 Breakout with a stage 1 upgrade. I recently installed a Freedom Performance Amendment exhaust and purchased the Vance and Hines fuelpak fp3 to go with it, but when I try to flash the map to my ecm the specific set up I need does not show. I spoke to V&H and was told to use the big radius 2 into 2 map with standard baffle but the fuelpak recognizes a standard breakout without the stage 1 engine mod. any insight would be very much appreciated.
I have the FP Amendments and V&H advised me to use the 2 into 2 map as well.
From the 'Map Lookup' section click the drop down box (^) in each section...
^ Exhaust Manufacturer (Vance and Hines)
^ Exhaust Name (2 into 2)
^ Baffle type (standard baffles)
It should already recognize your 103 motor for the Breakout.
Then a screen should pop up with the details that you chose, look it over to ensure it's correct...then simply touch the 'Flash' button

After reading your post again, I think you are referring the 'Engine Mod' section. Just choose 'Stock 103' because your motor is stock meaning no cams, heads, motor work, etc.

I've been watching and reading about the FP3 since it was first advertized. Interesting concept.. Flash and communicate with your ECM via your smart phone. The drawback that I foresaw is that Vance and Hines does not have the experience writing maps as other companies do. This thread confirmed my suspensions.
IMO, Dynojet's Power Vision is still the best product on the market.
