Yea we get that, but starting a thread on safest helmets wouldn't be as interesting to read...
That will depend on how much you care about the people who care about you.
"Checking out" on people who care about you, or who may rely on you, including parents, children, friends and a spouse might be considered rather selfish, compared to doing some minor homework to keep yourself around a little longer.

I think you're taking this a little too seriously man. This thread is called "cool and unique helmets" not " cool and unique unsafe helmets". It's just about sharing unique helmets. If you'd like to start a safety thread knock yourself out.
I didn't advocate unsafe riding gear anywhere in my post did I? I'm sure you're intentions are good but you need to brush-up on your reading comprehension.

Here comes the safety police, if you were honestly so concerned about checking out on people who care about you is your TOP priority, you'd sell your bike and drive a Volvo. Everyone knows cars are far safer than motorcycles.
For the rest of us that clearly have the ability to decide what is and what is not worth the risk, please post some more cool helmets...
Skully AR1 is pretty slick, not too fancy looking but for those who are into the tech side helmets, these gotta be way up the list.
