Custom slim done! Before & after pics
"Panhead Seat" I have a similar seat sold by Harley Davidson. I find it outstanding in comfort. I am 5'11" 32" inseam. Incredible comfort vs the stock saddle, as well as it is much easier to push the bike around with the engine off. I am far more comfortable while riding and at a stop light, my legs are at a more comfortable angle when seated, feet on the ground or on the boards.
I rotated the handlebars up just slightly. I can change to the stock seat in 5-10 min and do once in a while, but I leave the bars where they are.

And what kind of air cleaner cover is that?
What else, if anything, are you planning to do?
Sorry for all the questions but I like the direction your bike is going in!

the answer is ... freakin' awesome !
and the wide whitewalls just nail it with that look . super sharp bike !
Someone mention caps I can get from harley, but now I'm thinking instead of putting in brass hex bolts, to match the brass on the rear fender. FYI, I have brass seat springs and turnsignals that will be installed shortly.
Thoughts? Any drawbacks? I'm guessing over time the brass hex bolts will just look better as they get more tarnished and distressed.
If so, what size bolts do I buy for the fender bolt holes? For the passenger peg holes?

The Mufflers are Paughco slip on. Same mufflers on a bike I built in High School, in the 70s. They sound GREAT! (I have a V&H flash tuned 'puter, bike runs fantastic, no decal pop). Many compliments from Harley riders on the way these sound the next time they see me after listening to me ride off. Louder than stock but not too loud. Universal Bell Tip muffler, I have the longer 22":

Air filter cover is a highly modified, cut down, MoonEyes air filter cover, combined with a Joker Machine modified/ machined to fit mount. There may be a easier way to mount this filter, but it is not a bolt on mod, J/Machine is only a few miles away from me. K&N filter.
If you use this Joker Machine link, try to find something for a softail: http://jokermachine.com/products/har...arburetor.html

The slip on mufflers are easy to mount, except you have to fab an extension to the stock Harley muffler mount (top muffler) fairly easy to do. Lower muffler bolts right on!
Next mod? I want to hide the computer and under seat wires better. I plan a combination of Earth X battery (they are small) and hiding the 'puter behind the oil tank. I want the "hardtail" look and the plastic "too tall" battery covers (and forward rear fender computer covers) just don't do it for me. I think everything under seat should be behind AND BELOW the top frame rail. It difficult to see in my photos, but the square hole forward rear fender is filled with a removable black part for a finished fender look.

Suggest loosing the ugly Harley rotors & agree with blacking out the fork lowers.
Jegs has some nice black or chrome Willwood rotors for less than 100.00 each. I have them on my Bones. Pattern flows with spokes.

Sorry where are these rotors you mentioned? Have a link?

it's here if you're interested: http://shadetreefabrications.com/sto...attery-covers/
It's an automotive supplier, but Willwood makes rotors & calipers for Harley's. Just search Harley brake rotors.
I have a set of Exile Cycles drag pipes that are going on the Bones. You may like Russell's style of pipes, his Cross Bones has the vintage tips you like.
