Default Storage Device

Gents,
I have the HD teardrop tool boxes. I think they are ugly and would like to replace them with something else but I can't find anything out there. Those little leather tool pouches aren't big enough. Does anyone make anything that bolts to the frame under the voltage regulator? Looks like there is plenty of space under there to get the same amount of storage as these stupid looking things. Some of the custom bikes have an air dam down there. I would think someone can design something similar for storage. Hell, if they make it in chrome I'll buy it tomorrow! From the back it looks like my bike has a set of **** sticking out!

How about going to Victoria's Secret and getting a sexy lace bra to cover them up with?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. You can get one of those air dams for your bike, but I don't know of any that you can use for storage. If you have a little fabrication skils I don't think it would be all that hard to make one out of some sheet metal that you can put stuff in. But its not going to be very big and I'm sure you could probably find a decent sized forkbag. Maybe get a sissy bar bag andput it up front?

How about getting something like this:

Maybe not quite this big, but lockable, or a bag (if not lockable), and attach it to the lower part of your frame's downtubes in front of the engine, about 3/4 down from the top of the engine to provide suff. cooling.

Kuryakyn used to make something that might work for you, but I think they discontinued it:

twowheelsforever,
They still list it on their web site, but its only for bikes before 2000. Too bad cause its a nice box.
