Default Winter Mods .

Not been on for a while , marital Strife etc, only just got back into the big bed .
some major mods to the Deluxe this winter,
S&S t124 engine already bought
Tried to get some Carlini Gangster apes from the US ,to the UK but the shipping price with duty etc was ridiculous, so I've had a set made out of Stainless and polished, they are exactly the same as Carlini's , but cost me 1/3 the price!!
Bought a spare tankand fenders to get new paint , and got some wild idea of going with half chrome half paint , think its going to be special .

I'm leaving it as Fuel injected for the coming season , but next winter I'm going for a carb conversion, my Indy says I can have two carbs one on each side!.. Its the low tickover idea I'm in love with.
Also thinking about the Transmission , I hate this 5th gear whine .. havent decided yet but a Baker dd7 might be an option .

Cool mods bro, good to hear the bike is still going strong. Your back will start to feel much better now that you are off the couch! (been there, haha)

Post pics when you get those tins out of paint, I like the concept. Wouldnt mind seeing those bars too...did you go with internals?

Cheers motown , nice to hear from you .. ,
Bars are made but not fitted , but yes they are internal wiring, quite stoked about them.
As for the tins, the way I'm planning it, should be cool , not seen it done before , expensive , but should be worth it.
Really looking fwd to the motor, its being fitted at the end of the month,
You may remember my original engine ate its oil pump and crank, I had it replaced , but live in fear of it happening again, I think hD oil pump arrangement is less than good , S&S 124 is good for 128hp and massive torque .
Pics whan done.
