Your bike looks awesome..congrats...I am doing a build much like yours...I have a 2003 Deuce and purchased inner and outter street glide fairing and bags. I am going to make mine convertible whereas I can quick release the fairing and bags without big ugly brackets left behind and cruise arround with an original stock looking deuce. Any advice or tips? I noticed your strut covers are different. Did you replace them or drill the stock covers?
Since following this build, I've grown fond of the idea and began wondering if this is even a possibility for my Slim?
Was gonna just do leather bags, but the fast side in me is swaying me for something hard and stream lined.
That said, can anyone tell me if it is a go on the Slim.
Really love how easy the mod was. And for me that's a win!
My fairing is made by wide open concepts, quick release brackets make removal under 10 seconds. That will never happen if you hard mount a streetglide fairing on urs. Also, anything can be made to fit any bike. Everything I put on my bike was not made for a deuce but looks like it does. Fairing is made for a dyna and the bags and fender are made for a 2008 and up fatboy. I did use the stock fender supports and drilled them out..
Could you give a parts breakdown, basically I think you said baddad rear fender? which bags did you use and what brackets did you buy? I am doing the same thing and I love the look of your bike.
