Default Tc 88

I saw a posting on chopperswapper selling a bike with a tc88..someone commented on how shitty the bike was worth because it had a tc88. My bike has a tc 88.. What's so bad about them? Mine has 8k miles on it.. Should I be worried?

Your TC88 is fine. Do not worry. If you want more oomph, bump it up to a 95 or 98.

nothing wrong with the 88s,you just have to watch out for the cam chain tensioners on some of them. Ive got 46k on my 2004 heritage and she still purrs like a kitten.

Nothing wrong with an 88". It's just not considered the "latest and greatest" which is all some care about. Ride it and enjoy it.

Cool.. Cool.. I like my 88 as much as my 96 I had.. Same difference in my opinion other than the 96 having a six speed tranny.. But I love that my 88 is carb'd can't beat the idle sound. I love it! Thx guys
