Looking good brah!! What air cleaner is that? Figure 8 machine ?
Man, I feel pretty stupid, it is figure. I took another look the other day. IVe had it for awhile now and well, figure machine and performance machine sound pretty damn close don't they? Haha ah shucks
Bit of a sneak peak on the paint I got started on after finally finishing straighting the tank out. It's far from finished though, this was just a quick snap as I was painting. Those of you who read my posts about the paint job I had installed, well I changed my mind again last minute, going for a more simple yet bold idea. Will update once it's all finished
And a quick look at the pedal I drilled out and powder coated. Should help toe the few speed hole parts over the bike in nicely. Well I'm happy with it anyway. Thanks for looking!
No problems, just the usual shape lines and creases you can see with a gloss paint job where they rolled the shape into the tank. Most custom tanks will require some work for gloss paint. Also decided to hide the welds and make the tank a full smooth finish
Well I finished painting the tank. There was a million different ways to tackle the paint scheme and I had so many completely different ideas that would of all worked, it was hard to pick. I know everyone will have what they think would of looked best, maybe next time I could later all 50 different ideas all on top of each other in one paint job? Haha
This was a nice simple look that I'm happy with. So here it is!
All I need now is a confederation flag to **** all the people off that are winging about it? Lol
Nice paint for a first timer ink. You do good work. Gonna look good for sure.
Ha ha funny memory,I had a girl I ran around with back in the early 70's that I nicknamed "speed hole".Wonder if she held up as good as I did?
Get that thing running will you.
