Yeah that's pretty nice, I'm really digging that front end, and that paint, and those pipes! A few inches lower front and rear and that's be perfect.

I've been tossing up wether to go to a smaller headlight. I even tried to figure out a way to fit those tiny floodlights Russell from Exile used on I think maybe the Bull Fighter? One of his bikes anyway. Hoped I could tuck them in between the rear legs and springs on either side to get that no headlight look. Just not quite enough room in there though

Splatt that's sort of along the lines of what I was thinking. Though I need to wrap this one up, I want to start the next bike already lol

Cheers Wrenchy! I'll have to have a look. It's starting to get a bit of exposure which is good for buisness. Just need to make time to finish it so I can start the next project to keeo gaining interest

just discovered this build thread, read like 30 pages last night.
well, not much to say except if you start looking at it you might never stop admiring it :P so much attention to detail. beautiful.
how many degrees are in the rake ? 32.5? looks it has more. Thats what a stock crossbones has, what I have. Im thinking to do something with it.

I know its a led sled. was curious for the confirmation on the rake this bike has because the front end looks more angled than a stock crossbones.

Hey Roofcrash, it's an inline springer and the stock frame neck is 31 degress, so 31 degrees take in total.

But you are right, it looks like more rake then the crossbones because it is. Hopefully some one will chime in if I'm wrong but im almost certain the crossbones also has a 31 neck but they run an offset springer with 2 degrees negative rake taking the total back to 29 degrees.

G no not that flash. They are HSV wheels which is GMH's premium cars here. They're a bit stuffed. Picked up some cheap used wheels and powder coated them, it's only my daily get around car, just cleaning it up to sell it soon

Man had some dramas lately. Bloody bleeder valve on the rear caliper once everything was sweet on the rear I went to bleed to rear brakes and the valve it's so jammed I ended up having to pull the rear end apart to get the caliper out to work on it. Due to the soft metal it's made out of nothing at all would work without stripping it more and more u til it eventually snapped off. No amount of lube or anti seize would free it up. Drilled an easy out in, taking it as easy as I could, it still snapped clean off in there. Now I can drill through it at all lol. What a headache it's been. Going to see myachinest if he can still it out and tap it agai for me, then I'll ned to re anodise it. But if that fails I'll be up for a new caliper all because of one tiny jammed valve.

Good news is, after snapping a fitting on the front brake line and having to pull it all apart, the front ends back together, and the tedious job off hooking up the I herbal throttle and cutting the cable correctly is all finished. The extra work I done with the die grinder opening up the corners of the inside of the bars really freed up the throttle snap back. Before it was a little "grabby" and I wasn't happy with it. So I guess being made to pull it apart worked in my favour in the end.

Been a little pre occupied with a few other jobs for people and taking care of two new red nose pitbull pups I picked up. Female is a 6 months old I picked up from some ****** that were mistreating her, and I just got her a mate which is the male 5 weeks old. Been a handful while trying to work on the bike lol, but generally will just chill and not let anyone near me

I got bit done on the bike last couple days, nothing really visible so I haven't posted anything. Been a bit pissed lately with the **** going wrong. Would of been able to say I'm going to start it in the next week but the caliper put that on the back burner. Anyway hope to have some more closer updates for you guys on it soon
