Never apologise for asking a question.....you either get help with it or **** for it.....I say **** em' .
When I started riding in the seventies, we used the terms "soft tail" and "hard tail" because they were easier to say than "swingarm suspension" and "rigid frame", particularly when drunk.
Thanks, professorzoogy, you know my first and I make a mistake with my typing and get ridiculed, o well like you said****em, and thanks hattitude they were both AMF motorson super glides, they weren't custom frames, got a lot of miles out of both
Thanks
As for the op welcome to the forum.. I think you just paid your dues... Btw you can go back and forth with the oil you can even mix them if you want.....swifty
you know my first and I make a mistake with my typing and get ridiculed,
Rip1, I wasn`t ridiculing you, when I saw a post that said a `72 and a `75 Softail, the first thing I suspected was that someone was doing a drive by and yanking our chains....It happens a lot.
Use whatever oil you like, Dino or Syn, without any worries about mixing etc.
I bet nobody can find a post on any forum about an engine that has worn out prematurely or failed due to oil, as long as the correct grade was used.
Any brand 20w50 will give the engine all the protection it needs.
