Default im thinking of ordering a sas
anyone out there using sas and if so do you regret it ? ill be putting it on a 98 fatboy

I have a buddy who got the SAS. I ran a Shotgun. The shotgun rides way better. The only advantage of the SAS is the internal compressor. The Shotgun is far more adjustable. I am sure most people here have not ridden both. Take it from someone who has.

That's what I wanted to know I liked the sas just cause of the built-in compressor but if the rides better with shotgun I'll probably go that route thanks

SAS does not offer adjustable rebound, only ride height which allows a lot less control than the Shotgun shock. Merely my opinion. SAS has a nice product but it does not offer the same amount of control as Shotgun and the internal compressor is a benefit as far as installation is concerned, but install the compressor for a Shotgun is extremely simple.

You should call Shotgun direct at (323)359-4914 and tell them you are a forum member to see what they can do for you.
