Default H4 Headlamp conversion question

I have a 2000 Fatboy, and noticed it has a sealed beam headlamp, one piece unit. I have an extra H4 bulb that I would like to use. Any issues with converting this? My Road King uses an H4, figured it should be the same.

What do you guys recommend for a headlamp to work with this bulb?

I went to Ronnie's OEM parts finder, and the parts they show don't even match up with my bike. My Fatboy has a 7" headlamp with a sealed beam headlamp, and retaining ring, like my Road King. However, the parts finder lists different retaining rings and parts.
What's the deal? Did they do a lot of different setups back then?

I'd recommend you save the H4 bulb for a car, and get an LED Daymaker light for your scoot. The new bikes come with H4's and they're still POS. You can buy a cheap LED light from Truck-lite, who have gone through at least 7 redesigns of theirs and (IMNSHO) still haven't gotten it right (but they're cheaper), or you can buy the H-D LED by JW Speaker, who did a better job from the start, and are now on their 2nd design. You only have one life - is it worth cheaping out on safety?
