Trying to get ideas for my Slim. My bars are black so I plan to black out some or all of the forks. Very interested in seeing bikes that have black upper covers and stock lowers, also interested to see if anyone did chrome upper and black lower.....show some pics!
Powdercoated the auxiliary light buckets and left the rest of the light bar chrome
ran the new wheel for a while with the old set up but it just wasn't looking like I wanted
Here it is now
I agree with Misbehaven, I do like some contrast on the front and if I didn't change the wheels out I don't think I would have considered blacking out the front end. But I also have to give credit to Jam436, it was the pics of his bike that convinced me I could pull the blacked out look off with my bike.
I have always liked the contrast of the Fatboy Lo's front end. Many have blacked out the lowers and it looks good but I choose to leave mine stock.
I like the contrast of the Lo too...the whole bike. In fact I intended to get a black Fat Boy Lo, the dealer did noy have any in stock and I saw the Slim. Got a good cash deal on the"factory demo" Slim with 26 miles. No regrets, but I still like the looks of a black Lo
