Can you post a pic of your horn in it's new location? I'm stuck on where to put it. I have an engine guard so that interferes with my putting it on the downtubes at the front of the frame unless I get a custom bracket made
I ended up just removing my horn. I also have an engine guard. I had it bolted on the back side using the original horn bracket. i just move the horn down on the bracket, so that I was only using one bolt hole. I removed it due to the horn cover hitting my front fender when I hit a bump.

I installed two horns behind the headlight, inside the bezel. Made a bracket for each horn and they squeezed in there, one on each side of the stem.

You can also mount a horn between the down tubes (no fender issues)-
