Easy ~ Hard ~ And hour ~ Two hours? Did you buy a the horn extension wiring or make a jumper? Come on.....need to know..
It took me longer than I thought it would. Removing the old coil bracket was a real pain in the *** for me, only because when I installed my long shot exhaust I weld the bung for my O2 sensor to close. I had to bend it to get it out. I made my own wire extensions for the horn, which I used the original horn bracket and placed it on the downtube cross brace. I did buy the plug and play wire extension from DK. Wire routing with the DK coil bracket was simple. I bought twisted wires on Ebay. All in all, the install was easy. I had a harder time installing my lay down license plate bracket. I had to remove the rear fender.
This looks a lot better than stock. Couple questions...
Do you "have to" reinstall your horn?
Does the kit force removal of the coil support mount under the seat or is it left in place and just the coil itself is moved?
You do not have to reinstall your horn. However, i would check with you local state laws in some states it is a requirement. If you decide you have to have the horn or even just wan't one you could do a Horn Relocation.
As for your second question it is optional, we do explain this in the instructions. If you would like i can send you the instructions in a message. Hope this helps out

Can you post a pic of your horn in it's new location? I'm stuck on where to put it. I have an engine guard so that interferes with my putting it on the downtubes at the front of the frame unless I get a custom bracket made
