I've seen them used on here before for that price.

Why are you selling anyway? Don't see that too often.

Isn't this the wrong forum for this thread?

A person can ask whatever they want for an item, that doesn't mean they will get it.
(a friendly PM is more in order to let the seller know that the price may be too high)

It's the buyer's responsibility to work the deal and to pay what they think is fair.
(Past sales should only be used by a buyer to negotiate the deal)

A person should only get involved with pricing something if the seller or buyer is asking advice about the price.
(If you're not selling or buying what do you care what the asking price is)

The reasons for someone to sale something is between the buyer and the seller unless the seller volunteers the reasons.

If I ever sell this bike it would ONLY be because I am buying another Softail and I would never sell this bike WITH the SS on it, it would be going on my new bike. In any case it does make sense to take it off before you sell a bike with it on because on the bike your not going to be able to get what its worth. If you take it off you can sell your bike and you will probably get the same out of the bike but you can then sell the SS separately and get a good price on that as well.

Your right, I don't pay attention to the Classified Forum unless I'm looking for something and wouldn't post a response unless Im interested in the item. Once you post a 4Sale directly in the Softail Forum it becomes fair game and like any other post in the Softail Forum and I'm entitled to an opinion...

That's the last I'll say in this thread..

Just Sayin... 1+1=3

Mike NY, feel, think and ask what you want to ask and when you want to ask it and ignore the haters. Sooo, you made an "ooppsss", who cares? I learned something new when I joined this forum, I never knew there were Harley riders who were such cry babies too. Watch and see how this post/reply gets attacked. Maybe not now that I pointed that out. I NEVER would have guessed that or bet on it either. I just don't get it, never did! Who cares what anyone asks or how often something is asked? If it bothers people I don't know why they keep reading those posts, just ignore it and move along! Having said all that, 99.99% of the guys, and gals here are great and would help you in anyway they can. There is also TON of knowledge on this forum, don't let a turd come along and keep you from using it and learning from these people.

I guess it's OK if you've got something to sale for others to tell you what you should be selling it for.

I'll wave the white flag on this thread and move on.

You're not supposed to put for sale ads in this section anyway. There is a whole section for classifieds.

That said, whoever took $750 for the SS, unless there were extenuating circumstances, took too little.

Between a 7 month old, work and school, I just don't have enough time to ride. I will eventually be going back to stock and selling the bike.
