Question Shotgun Shock switch relocation...

First off, I apologize for the shockgun shock post. Everyone's probably saying, oh shoot not another post about Shockgun Shock. My question is have anyone relocated their shotgun switches elsewhere besides behind the stock horn location? I want to relocate mine on the handlebars somehow. Pic's would be awesome if possible. Thanks in advance for any replies...

There is a member who mounted his switch on the bars in this forum. Maybe shoot him a PM and see if he can help you out.

Harley makes auxiliary switch housings for the left & right side, in black or chrome. They have 3 positions for switches. I extended the 5 wires from the Shotgun shock up to my left grip and mounted the two toggles in one of the switch blanks. Here's a photo.

It turns on some LEDs mounted under the gas tank. Extra switches are a separate line item from Harley, as are extra blank panels. When I was rewiring for my apes I added that, plus a 12V line that goes into my tool bag for powering stuff like a GPS .

1st off fatboy1729, ask what you want to ask, when you want to ask it and ignore the haters. What might be an old question to many of us might be a brand new question to a new person here or a new rider. 2nd, I been trying to get and keep a clean look up front on and with my bars so I mounted mine on the left side of my dash. That gives people just enough curiosity to make them wonder and ask questions. I know I sold at least a half dozen units for JD that way! We still need to meet up someday for a burger and a beer.

You need to bring your bike this way one of these weekends. We have a few great river bars around here and guys from all over come around to ride, relax and have a few beers. The main reason though is because sometimes so many guys shows up it turns out to be like an unofficial bike show!!! Id love to see your bike out there parked next to mine one of these days.

EDIT: Sorry Dude, for a second I had you confused with someone else. That's an open invitation though if you ever do head in this direction!!

Still doing homeworks to find an alternative way to relocate SS switches on handlebar, possibly using the housings. Trying now to analyze the Touring housings and, unfortunately, the one that has the perfect look (p.n. 71500185) won't fit. Talking about the housings with 4 holes (2 per side) under the turn signal switches. These would have been perfect to allocate four momentary buttons but, as I said, won't fit Softail electric units.
So I started wondering if the housings for Touring older models would fit Softail electric units. If these fit, the part below the turn signals (guess originally should have the radio switches) could be used to fit two momentary switches (lever type or similar) and have a clean look and easy access for SS adjustments while riding.
These housings are HD part number 70223-96B and theoretically fitting is given for '96-'13 FLHT/C, '06-'13 FLHX/XX,FLTRX without cruise control.
Need your help understanding if this mod can be done, guys.
