Default diffence between 07 and 09 softail dash?

I was wondering if anybody knew the difference in the 07 and 09 dash for a softail. I really want to get the RWD low profile dash but they only fit up to an 07 model. I was wondering if I bought it would I be able to modify it to fit my 09. Any input would help thanks.

I just bought a used RWD dash that buddy was using on his 07 Train. Here it is on my 09 Train. No issues

That is exactly what I want! So it mounted right up with no fitment issues at all!? It looks killer man I'll have to order one.

Hardest part was getting the LED panel out of old dash. Otherwise, no issues. Dont know what the lug is for midway down though. When I get it painted, I'm going to get it removed and filled in.

I am ordering the dash I really like it. I also plan on filling that lug when I have it painted. Also is the only bolt holding it on the one near the odometer? I was thinking of welding something the bottom of the dash so I can bolt it down were the tank bolt is near the seat so it doesn't rattle.

Ya. My Danny Gray holds it down super tight. No rattling. I would get the dash and try it with your seat before deciding to modify.
