Well, I swapped out the tank today as well as having the tires done (they were due).

Everything went well, but the fuel level sending unit is kaput, so I have another on order (got this one on eBay, everything else I got from a dealer back east for cheaper). Once it gets here then I will have to take the whole thing apart. I did do the 1.5 inch lift on the tank thanks to DK Customs.

I went with the '62 emblems this time...my original tank is going into storage once i let it dray/air out. All and all, a good day save the fuel level sending unit.
