Brought home a 03 100th Anniversary Deuce FXSTD Yesterday.
Friend of a friend was selling it. My friend was thinking of buying it and I went with him to check it out. He passed and I couldn't, so it has joined my 08 Sportster 1200 C. Told my wife it was my 70th birthday present.
Owner pointed out that it had some extra chrome, Screaming Eagle intake & exhaust, 100th Anniversary Sundowner and original seat, 100th Anniversary cover, and a few other things. He gave me most of the take-off parts, owner's manual, brochure, and receipts from the dealer. Picture in his garage.
Bike has 2,800 miles on it.I rode it 55 miles home on the original 03 tires without any issues. They look really good for being 12 years old,but I am ordering new Pirelli Night Dragons tomorrow.
Looked at the dealer receipts this morning - holy crap! They totaled $3,600 for upgraded parts and labor. That's a lot of bling - it looks like he wanted every chrome part offered. Glad to get the Screaming Eagle stuff and the cover, but would never buy all that chrome. It's okay and I didn't pay for it.
