I have read of several people doing this on a Lo with no problem as long as it is only 4" risers. No need for new cables or wire extensions. Most have gone on only to find that the 4" risers were not enough and moved on to different bars. Good luck. Ride safe.
Yep, I have 4" risers and stock handlebars on my 2014 Lo. I was stuck for a long time trying to decide on new bars, or apes so I thought this would be a good experiment; I like the way they feel so no further change is needed.
You can keep all of your wires as they are, install (along with upgraded bushings) was no problem. Good luck on your choice.
