As far as what? When I was running stock controls, I just left it as is. If I wanted to start in gear, I pushed the button in manually. Now that I no longer have stock controls, it is wired so I can start in any gear.

The switch in the hand controller is only to tell bike clutch is pulled in. 6th gear indicator is in tranny. You still have the green light in 6th.

+1. I left my switch alone when I was running a jockey shift. Just use your finger to press it in if you're starting the bike in gear.
