Default Idle Issues

99 Softail Custom with S&S carb.

Bike ran fine all last season then towards the end had an issue getting the bike to idle. Rode the bike for the first time this season and still have the idle issue.

Problem is once I close the enricher the bike does not idle after it has been warming up for a while. I have to stay on the throttle a little to keep it from stalling out.
But, it will idle after I have rode the bike for a while and its up there in running temperature.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions on whats going on?

Thanks in advanced.

Sounds like the idle maybe set too low. Also my evos were very cold blooded so what you are saying is kinda normal to me. Try cleaning the carb out and resetting the idle.
