Stock carb, I was reading that page linked, could be vacuum leak. Going to check all mentioned above. I know the pilot is clean I made sure of it. Float/needle are working I checked before I installed the bowl again

Have you taken a look at the ignition cam sensor plate. If it is factory it may have melted and breaking down. It looks like a goo is coming out.

Checked the plate, nothing looks melted. Redid the carb again. No change. However now, I can crank and crank it on "ignition" itll burp a few times at first but wont run, and if I switch to "lights", the same thing happens. Few burps and then nothing. I can switch back and forth get the same results but neither will really keep it running. Wondering if its the switch? Im getting spark though so I dont understand.

Im extremely baffled here as to why it would all of a sudden just start running bad. Now it won't even run..

Im getting spark, getting gas, the carb is clean and adjusted, the only thing I can think of is timing or CDI or something. I dont know, bought an EVO so it would fire up everytime I wanted to ride, just another bike sitting in the garage dammit!

Default S&S carb

My idea would be to look the S&S E carb video on You Tube and set it up as per the video. If you cleaned and put the carb together properly it should help.

When you checked for spark were the plugs clean? Is it possible you got a bad tank of fuel? Can you see the accelerator pump shooting gas? Careful on doing that. btw It is a CV carb right?

Don't worry, evos are great bikes. I still think there's something up with your carb or fuel sys. I'd look into draining the tank and checking the fuel filter and petcock. Make sure batt. Connection are clean and tight!

Yes stock Cv carb. Carb actually looks brand new lol. Acc pump shoots gas everytime you crack the throttle. I think the gas was bad but like I said I drained it out and put in new fresh gas.
