Default 2007 Night Train - Forks question

I am thinking about having some parts on my Night Train powder coated. My forks are currently all factory chrome, with chrome headlight. I like this look:

I'm assuming the sliders and headlight aren't too bad, but how much work is involved with removing the fork legs? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pulling the fork legs is pretty easy. If you plan on doing your own work, do yourself a favor and spring for a service manual. You'll be glad you did.
