I love my 99 and would not trade it for a brand new one. Every time I ride it I just grin. It is the most fun to ride I have ever ridden, and in my estimation the best looking motorcycle that was ever made. If I had to buy a newer bike though it would have to be a Cross Bones.
Well.....I do like me some ginger bread.

Mine has a little extra bling that the first owner put on it. All HD extras including the chrome sliders on the fork, chrome swing arm, chrome slotted rear disc wheel, 60 spoke chrome front wheel, and a few things I have forgotten. This is not a good picture but it shows some of it anyway. It only has 47,000 miles on it and does not have a scratch anywhere except for a few little scratches on the drag pipes and the engine gaurd.

The second picture is with the windshield and saggy bags I put on for longer trips.

As I remember the Custom had a little more bling on it. Then there was the NightTrain, almost the same but with a blacked out look and those straight across bars. For the time being I'm stuck with a touring bike, and I don't tour. It's kind of like having a 4x4 and never taking it off-road. Sometimes I think, all I really need is a Street Bob. If I was to get a different bike, I think it would be a Softail Custom, if they came back, or a Cross Bones, again if they came back, or a Street Bob. A Softail version of a Street Bob would be sweet.
