Default Beatup regulator

Was working on the fatty and wow is my voltage regulator is all chipped and beat up.
Anyone using a product to protect theirs?

Yeah, I knew that, but then you just end up with a beat up chrome regulator.
Chips not as glaring on the chrome cover?

It took me 66 years to get past your statement ..Chips not as glaring on the chrome cover?

And I am still working on it.... ..Sadly, cataracts and bad floaters from PVD have helped a lot but that cure is worse then the problem was...So for you.

Go straight to the blackboard and write 100 times (with real chalk). "Chips are a sign on honor on a Harley"

This may be your only hope..Your condition can get out of hand..

Yea it's called a garage, you put your bike in it and do not remove it until you sell your bike, or die.

What a sad concept.
Some people have a protective clear wrap on their cars to protect them from getting chipped up, I was curious if anybody did something similar to protect their regulator cover.

If it gets bad enough replace it. I don't like the idea of covers they cut down on the cooling.
