According to the VIN it was a night train with a carb, NADA says it is worth $7630 in my zip code and I don't see any mods that would increase the value...IMO a bike is worth no more than a bank will loan on it. As far as it being a night train, it would be worth more if it was showroom stock. I bet it does not hit the reserve...and it doesn't sell.
I'd offer to pay 4500.00, no more. ANYTHING that deviates from stock takes money OFF the price when I buy a bike. A bike customized like that would be treated as having a salvage title by me.

Sweet let me know when you have your bike for sale..sounds like it will be cheap
Just curious why a stock 88" is a problem? I always laugh when I hear this...more bikes for me to buy I guess, I can guarantee I have a 88" that can out run 103's with a stage 1 and to think guys pass on that engine..SMH. The one thing I can say is yes that bike can be built fairly cheap. I just saw a 01 night train on ebay sell for 5200.00..
Cuz when some someone is asking that kinda money for a bike, it needs to run too. Just a bunch of stuff hammered in place and painted to match doesn't mean it's "custom." Continue to play with your 88" all you want and enjoy yourself.

Geez...a little sensitive, you need a midol..and by the way it does make a bike "custom" if you paint it that would mean it's custom to you..
