Going to do this upgrade in the next couple of weeks. Did you go with the OEM HD or the Ebay knock-off? I see the knock-offs are down below $50, and seem to get good/mixed reviews just like the HD version. Really torn to spend the bucks on the OEM.
I like the style/appearance of that one, but would like to know if it's as bright as the BAL-1 that I have on now, and if it has the rapid fire flash before steady on brake light.
It's a cheapie off EBay. But very well made and works great, up to now!!!
Well that seals it. I'm going to try one. The one issue I have read about these, outside of the occasional LED going out, is they are not as bright as the OEM Tri-bar, but others say they are. Heck, I could go through 5 of em' and still be under the cost of the Harley unit.

I would rather spend 5 times on the better quality, brighter, more visible light, .....that has the potential of making things safer on the road for me, ....and more than likely last a life time.
